It is recalled that the contract for the project titled “Construction, Operation, and Maintenance of the Fecal Sludge and Septage Treatment Plant (FSTP) for Adama Town” was signed with Bigeta Business PLC, in joint venture with Qiankun Environmental Protection Joint Stock Co., Ltd., for the Client, the Ministry of Water and Energy.
The site handover was successfully conducted on December 16, 2025. The project is being implemented under ICB No.: ET-MOWIE-466030-CW-RFB with a total contract price exceeding ETB 1.8 billion.
The site handover ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Water and Energy, Mr. Teshome Tagesse, CEO of Bigeta Business PLC, technical experts from Bigeta Business PLC, and the CEO of Adama Town Water and Sewerage Enterprise.
Speaking during the site handover, Mr. Teshome Tagesse stated:
