The foundation stone placement ceremony for Adama Town Faecal Sludge and Septage Treatment Plant Construction, Operation, and Maintenance Project was successfully conducted. Our company BIGETA Business PLC is the contractor awarded for the construction of the project.
The cornerstone was jointly laid on January 1, 2026 G.C., by H.E. Dr. Engineer Habtamu Itefa, Ministry of Water and Energy Minister the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and H.E. Mr. Hailu Jaldee, Mayor of Adama Town.
The ceremony was attended by Engineer Million Bekele, Head of the Oromia Water and Energy bureau, senior officials from the Ministry of Water and Energy, Government higher officials of the Adama Town Administration, Adama town water and sewerage enterprise CEO and expertise, Abba Geda, Hadha Siinqee, the project area community, staff of BIGETA Business PLC, consultant representatives, and others invited guests.
